Summer Meeting Times

Ok mamas!!
Summer is here so we are switching things up.
We WILL be meeting on the following Thursdays...

August 15th
August 29th


Starting in Septmeber, we will be meeting weekly!!!

Bring a friend and remember, childcare is ALWAYS PROVIDED free of charge:)

The Ministry of Motherhood

We will be starting a wonderful time of fellowship and discussion on Sally Clarkson’s book The Ministry of Motherhood on Thursday, April 5th!  This will be an 8-week series taking us into the hot, hot summer!

It will be a great time of sharing our journey of motherhood and challenge us to love and train up our children using God’s word!

You can order the book online, pick it up at the local Family Christian Bookstore, or just join us for discussion each week without a book!!!

WHEN: EVERY THURSDAY MORNING

TIME: 10-12 am

WHERE: The Family Church Fellowship Hall

Tomorrow is our THIRD THURSDAY lunch on the grounds.
Pack your lunches and join us right after bible study/MOCHA for a bite together!

REMEMBER-you can join us at any time for part of or the entire bible study-Beth Moore's Revelation study has been a great experience and we still have a few weeks left!

Spring 2012 Schedule and Changes

Hey mamas!
Hope you had a restful holiday and are back into the swing of things.

A few short announcements:
1. We will be meeting tomorrow morning at 9:30 for coffee and fellowship.
2. MOCHA starts at 10:00 until 12:00 (as usual)
3. Beth Moore bible study starts at 10:00 until 12:00.
Childcare is provided for either!!

You may go to MOCHA or the bible study-you don't have to commit full time to either.

We will be having "lunch on the grounds" (bring your own picnic) the 3rd Thursday of every month starting January 19th. The playground will be open for the kids to play as long as weather permits.

Looking forward to seeing each of you in the morning!!! 9:30 (or come when you can!)

October 6th:

“Birthday Bake Off”

Come fellowship and help us celebrate all October birthdays! 

Please bring a yummy item to share with all!

October 13th:

“Table Talk”

A get-to-know you time through fun questions and talking points as we divide up into smaller groups.

October 20th:

“Ob/Gyn Q&A”

A midwife or doctor from Dr. Mike Cotter’s office will be joining us to talk about female issues, so bring your list of questions and look forward to an informative and fun session!

***Jaime, one of our mamas, manages this office and will be joining us this day—she is planning on bringing something yummy for us to enjoy too***

October 27th:

“Service Day”

We will be traveling to Arbor House so please arrive by 9:45 and pack a lunch for your child. We will be back at the church by 12:00.

WELCOME SPRING!

There are some exciting things in store for you at MOCHA this Spring, so I hope you will join us as we fellowship together on this journey!

Februrary 3rd we will  be having a Coffee Mate Party hosted by the amazing Kelly Hawkins-lots of coupons, free creamer, coffee and goodies.

***Feel free to bring a baked good to share with the group!

Sometime during the month, Angela Renick will be joining us to speak about being overwhelmed as a mom and encourage us in our daily walk-you don’t want to miss this!

Finally, we will be having discussion groups surrounding Ginger Plowman’s book “Heaven at Home” starting at the end of February.  You can purchase this book on Amazon for around $12, but DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE IT OR EVEN READ it to participate!!!  Remember, no pressure to read anything or do homework in this group!!
